Schenectady UPDATE!
First of all, it is so hard getting anything done in August around here! This is where we stand on the Schenectady location…
From what I understand, when you buy a building in downtown Schenectady affiliated with Metroplex, you have to wait 90 days from the signing of the contract so that appropriate time is allowed for people to contest the sale, check background information, whatever. Our 90 day due diligence period ends next week. Which means, we will be beginning construction in early September. Construction should take 2-3 months, so we should be open mid-November.
It is our goal to be open by the Christmas Parade in late November. Although our official target date is November 4th, for Christine Primiano’s birthday! We will keep you posted on the progress.
If you know anyone looking to work on the Bombers Team (go Team!), resumes can be emailed to Matt@BombersBurritoBar.com We will be hiring for all positions.

Will the look and feel of BII be similar to that of the original?

Yes! It is going to be the same exact layout, but with a private bar on the 3rd floor and more seating. Oh, and a mechanical bull.

Mechanical bull…nice.
Private bar? Meaning an area that can be reserved? Hmmmm, me likey!

I hope it will be open in November because I’m sick of traveling to Albany for a veggie nugget burrito. *s* I can’t wait. I’m so hoping it will be open on the 8th of Nov. Bombers after Madagascar II (with my 8 year old son ofcourse)
